Overheard at Thanksgiving - Short comedy vid shot entirely on the GH2

Decided to do a last minute shoot for Thanksgiving weekend on my Panasonic GH2. Still a big fan of the camera for low-cost shoots.

We used the Panasonic 20mm for the opening shots (would have preferred the entire shoot on this lens but we were in a time crunch) and the Panasonic 14mm-140mm for everything else. A couple focus issues, but overall happy with the content from such a short time frame.

Here is the trailer for our new comedy show "A Good Life"
We are trying to get the word out there and build some momentum!
Our pilot episode is currently finishing sound design/mix.
Most of the footage was shot using the 5D Mark III, though I did get to do pickups on my hacked GH2. :)

A girl is trying to get the guy she likes to notice her...

About: A workshop for a school acting group to understand the difference between acting for the stage and acting for a camera. Focus on the acting in one afternoon we shot it with natural light and kept the fancy equipment to a minimum: a reflector and a home built slider.

Shot in three hours with a hacked GH2 (Flow Motion) and vintage Nikon lenses. Edited in Final Cut Pro X. Graded in Davinci Resolve 10. Sound mix in Pro Tools 11.

Winner of the audience award at the TellUs Short Film Festival.

After getting so many replies from my "How to hold a Microphone" video telling me how wrong I was, I figured, "Fuckit: If singers are too stubborn to learn anything, I might as well profit from it." I give you, "Cupping the Mic Works Wonders."

Shot on BMPC Raw, with Osiris LUTs. Lenses include Panasonic 14-40, Fujinon 25mm 1.4.

Finally decided to put my hacked GH2 to work and pursue my dream of creating a TV show!

Here's our shameless plug for the TV show we are trying to fund raise. The show is about Stevie, a normal guy in his late 20’s, who lives in a mental institution and tells the stories leading up to how he supposedly went crazy. It's a mix of styles in the vein of "Seinfeld," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "How I Met Your Mother."

We shot the fundraiser video on the Panasonic GH2 using Driftwood Cluster X - Moon T7 settings. Would love to hear feedback from you guys and if you can "like" our facebook page even better!

I know this forum is mainly for hot-looking clips, ours is admittedly more about the narrative. No "amazing color grade" here, we fully admit. But we think it's pretty damn funny. Shot on GH2, 7D, 5D, and even some stuff on a Lanparte rig obtained from a PV deal! We just launched our Kickstarter campaign, please check it out and let us know what you think!

The Boss - GH2 shot short film

Hey guys! Shot a short with the GH2 and thought I'd share it with you lot:

It was all shot at 720p50, using a Voigtlander 25mm 0.95, Canon FD 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8.

As a cautionary tale, I attempted to shoot with the Flowmotion v1.11 patch, but found when getting the footage in it was averaging a very low bitrate of between 14 - 17 mbps, which I can only attribute to me not having applied the patch correctly. So always test your bitrates before going out into a shoot! I can't work out why this patch won't work for me as I don't have problems with any others.

Anyhow, just wanted to express my thanks for all the work you guys do on this forum, and to show how great this little camera can look even without a massive high bitrate patch!
