At least two software developers I talked with (work in quite large and nice startups) got special notices at the start of August that from October 1st their payment will change and adjustment is related to work from home used by almost all companies still.

Panic rumors are that it'll be 30% cut in real money and also some stock options and related changes.

Their startups since coronavirus start already obtained new workers only from different US states and other countries, not even single developer who live in California. Of course, terms offered for them are much worse than before virus times.

Both firms do not plan to return to officies, at least not until September 1 2021, same notice told.
