Hi guys, I wanted to share with you this experimental short film I made in cooperation with the theatre-group 'Als de Beren Komen' from Utrecht. It's a monologue-driven theatrical story about a man who spots, and then tries to manipulate and imagine a story on top of a random girl he encounters in the city. The tale evolves into a game of manipulation, fantasy and imagination where the balance of power slowly seems to shift. We made the film for a local Utrecht art-festival (hence the focus on the city) but were so pleased with the end result that we decided to send it out to a broader audience.

So it's in dutch, with english subtitles.

I'm curious as to how it works for non-dutch residents! cheers, Reinout

Short film "The Call" shot with Flowmotion 2

We shot a short film last summer right before I moved away. The original cut fell flat but we decided to switch it to a silent film style and it turned out much better than expected. Shot mostly with a GH2 (a little bit of HMC150), all smooth -2,-2,-2,-2 with the FlowMotion patch.

Hi! Im proud to present this musicvideo shot with GH2 (Sedna) as A-CAM and Canon 5DmkIII as B-cam. Its a bit bigger scale project than other ive seen here. I really love my GH2 as it gives much better detail and very pleasent colors compared to MK3. Its pretty easy to spot the detail difference between these two cams. Kipon m43 adapter with Zeiss and Canon lenses were used. Hack used was Sedna. Big thanks to VK and Driftwood!

So here it is - my first GH2 music video... unfortunately we had very little time in the venue and we had to work with the lighting they had... which as you can see wasnt great... shot by 1-man crew with gh2 + nikkor 50mm f1.4 and nikkor 24mm f2.8 lenses.

Thought of sharing my first project as a writer/director with the fellow forum members here. It's a small personal film I shot December last year. I tried to use as little resources as possible and focus on the emotional side.

The second short came about when I first saw the author Ivan Dimitrov, during a literary reading called "The Homeless on Sunday" held at a hostel in Sofia, Bulgaria. He seemed to live on his own terms and I hope I made at least a bit interesting character-driven documentary.

If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer. Any feedback will be much appreciated as well.

Aurora - Twisted Robot Love Story

Hey everyone! After my last film "Population Zero" (which was shot entirely on a hacked GH2 with Canis Majoris hack) I'm working on my new film Aurora! It's a twisted robot love story about a young man who wakes up 60 years after a car accident only to find himself lost in a dystopic world run by machines.

Even though we're shooting on the RED Epic we're also going to shoot a B-Camera with GH2 material, because I think that these two will match perfectly in post and the GH2 doesn't have to hide itself from the big players.
