COMICA introduced its new low cost, entry-level UHF Wireless microphone system – the COMICA BoomX-U. From outside, the BoomX-U looks very similar to the COMICA BoomX-D Wireless Microphone System. Image credit: CineD First look The COMICA BoomX-U UHF Wireless Microphone System comes in a white box, packed in a very practical carrying bag for easy transport. Inside the bag, you will find two COMICA BoomX-U Wireless Transmitters, one BoomX-U Dual Wireless Receiver, two lavalier microphones with each a foam windscreen, mounting clip and fur windscreen. You will also get one 3.5mm TRS-TRS Audio Cable, one 3.5mm TRS-TRRS Audio Cable for mobile phone use, one 3.5mm TRS-XLR Audio Cable, and one USB A-USB C Charging Cable. Everything you need is in the box and ready to go. Both the wireless receiver and transmitters are made from plastic but in very good quality. They feel very good in the hand. The transmitter is equipped with an in-build 180-degree foldable antenna, and the receiver has two of them. The receiver and transmitter are powered with a non-replaceable built-in battery and can be charged through a USB-C port on the side. The color TFT screen on the receiver is nice and easy to read, even in sunlight.
