Premiere Pro, MTS files, metadata and no audio.
As far as Pluraleyes/MTS goes, with Premiere, you can highlight your video in the timeline and do a Render and Replace operation. This makes it fully compatible with Pluraleyes. If you're having problems with MTS audio otherwise, maybe try that.

Travel in Europe through the GH3
Looks great! Did you bring a small tripod or monopod for some of these shots? Very stable footage, something I struggled with at times in my own travels through Europe.

NLE alternatives to Premiere?
Smoke's another alternative to consider. It gives you an NLE plus powerful VFX/finishing tools inside one app. I think you could replace the Premiere/After Effects workflow quite easily with it.

GH1 4:3 Ratio Settings
It's a very badly wanted feature, but no, unfortunately it's limited to 640x480 30fps. Your best bet is AVCHD 1080p24 and cropping the sides if you want something less extreme than 3.56:1 (in the case of 2X anamorphics).
