The original control grip on the Panasonic AU-EVA1 camcorder seems too short. Particularly, when cameraman shoots with it on a shoulder rig, it's not comfortable. That's the reason we design this extension arm for AU-EVA1, the cameraman doesn't even need to remove the original screws from the camera body.

There is an AU-EVA control grip adaptor on the extension arm, just rotate the original control grip into it. On another end, there is a standard ARRI style rosette teeth adaptor with M6 screw on it, it's easy to connect to any base with the ARRI style adaptor. Besides that, we add a built-in control cable inside the arm.

The cameraman can plug the original 3 pin control cable into the built-in port and plug another 3 pin signal jack into the "REMOTE" port on the camera body, use it as the original. Open the knob to adjust the length of the extension arm to get best holding position cameraman wants. It's the must need gear for shooting with Panasonic AU-EVA1.

Check this link to see more details of this arm.

PWM(S.Bus)+LANC+DC12V BMMCC Angle Breakout Expansion Box Module http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/16437/pwms.bus-lanc-dc12v-bmmcc-angle-breakout-expansion-box-module Thu, 09 Feb 2017 22:05:26 +0000 neirotransformer 16437@/talks/discussions Hi there! As you may know i'm a developer of Angle HDMI Clamp Kit http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/16438/bmmcc-angle-hdmi-clamp-lock-kit-module-developed-by-radioproektor of SmallRig BMMCC cage. My next attempt in this line of projects was the camera handle, but it seems things moving slowly and i decide to release Angle Expansion Box Module first. Box uses high quality connectors made by Lumberg (Germany). It takes months to test a lot of different connectors before choose proper ones, especially DC power which should work smoothly with BMMCC power plug same as with another more simple ones. Angle shape provides compact and secure cable management, no more mess of wires around camera. Fits perfectly to size and shape of BMMCC Angle HDMI Clamp Kit. 3D printed body. Compatible with SmallRig and Wooden Camera cages. Compatible with other BMMCC controllers. For request 3.5mm jack can be wired to 2 PWM channels or to S.Bus. Other connectors are 2.5 jack LANC and camera DC power in.

Currently this project is in final stage of development. Hope expansion box will be available in month or so. Price will be around $25-$50. Worldwide shipping with registered air mail about $5.

Canon FD 50mm 1.4 - how to convert into macro? http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/3696/canon-fd-50mm-1.4-how-to-convert-into-macro Tue, 26 Jun 2012 15:52:18 +0000 diptwo 3696@/talks/discussions Just recently I started collecting equipment, skill and knowledge about my newly purchased GH2. Im very new to pic/video world and would highly appreciate any help, recommendations, and advice. I dont have the terms and definitions covered so please correct me in anything that im doing wrong. Yesterday I bought a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 lens ( the crop factor made it even more confusing but im not going to go into it since this thread is about the lens and macro) and i was wondering if there is a way (Ive came across tubes) to make this a macro lens. Ive read a bunch of posts and threads all over the web and it im still not certain about how to approach my next purchase so i thought ill turn to the professionals for help.

Extend physical (not focal) length of lens? http://www.personal-view.com/talks/discussion/2650/extend-physical-not-focal-length-of-lens Thu, 22 Mar 2012 00:30:57 +0000 shane 2650@/talks/discussions I buckled down and bought the Voigtlander 25mm f.095 and I love it. But now it's time to put a follow focus on it. As anyone who owns this lens will know, the focus ring has old-school ridges that make it tricky to put a focus gear on, but right underneath it is a "smooth" area that I am convinced could be made to turn with my iDC System Zero follow focus (if not by itself, then with a standard office ziptie or something similar).

The problem is, the shape of this device puts the rubber about a millimeter shy of where it needs to be. It's so close, but it doesn't quite touch:

If I could find a way to add even 1/8 of an inch to the lens, I think that it could make contact and possibly work. But my problem is that all adapters tend to do something. I want one that does not do anything. Since it's a manual lens to begin with, I won't be losing any functionality.

Does anyone know of anything like this, or another workaround?
