Ryzen 4000 APUs - just mobile chips slapped on desktop format
  • Amd will use mobile chips they already make and after milking notebook manufacturers will also introduce them for DIY desktop market.

Nothing too good in them, they are much worse compared to any modern Ryzen CPU paired even with cheapest GPU.

  • AMD decided to offer only Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G and Ryzen 7 PRO 4750GE to partners, and not do any 8 core retail versions of APUs.

One of the reasons can be that they are afraid fo some Chinese manufacturers who can use them for their 'gaming" notebooks.

  • @Vitaliy...the 5 looks like possible good performance/value for a $500 desktop. When are these coming ?
