Can you list any reason of this comment rather than pure bad humour?

AC is used as one of the powering options.
Use rechargable set of NiMg batteries for rest.

Not seeing any reference to AC anywhere in this list. All I see is DC either battery or 12V.

Looking at provided link I see AC (120 volt AC). So, no problem with this
