Yongnuo announced a new 35mm f/2 autofocus lens (YN35mm F2S DF DSM) for full-frame Sony cameras. It features a compact and lightweight design, 52mm filter thread, Fn button, and a minimum focusing distance of 0.35m (1.15′). The lens and camera accessories manufacturer Yongnuo based in China is mostly known for very affordable lenses and LED lights. Last year, the company, however, announced a mirrorless camera as well. Its length is 72mm (2.83″) and the diameter is 67mm (2.64″). The lens weighs 295g (10.41oz). There is a 52mm front filter thread, but no image stabilization. According to Yongnuo, the lens uses a quiet CNC Digital Stepping Motor (DSM) for fast and accurate autofocus. The aperture is available between f/2 and f/16. It is a circular aperture with 7 blades.
