Popular accessory manufacturer Tilta has announced a price increase for a whole range of its products. This is a direct result of the ongoing (and global) chip shortage we are currently experiencing. And since this crisis obviously doesn’t just affect a single company like Tilta, other manufacturers might follow suit. This is just a really quick heads-up about what’s going on in the industry – not just, but also, of course, in filmmaking. Global supply chains are irritated due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and in a world of just-in-time business, this is having a major impact.
