SIGMA now offers a dial/button conversion service for owners of the original SIGMA fp. For a fee, the company will modify the rear dial, MODE button, and the microphone/cable release terminal cover to match the newly designed parts of the SIGMA fp L. There are currently two cameras in the SIGMA fp line – the original SIGMA fp (CineD review here) that was launched in October 2019, and the new SIGMA fp L that was introduced in March 2021 (CineD review for filmmakers, lab test, and review for photographers here). Apart from the new full-frame sensor with a much higher resolution, SIGMA also changed a few details about the camera body. Although the fp and fp L look almost the same, there are some subtle differences in certain dials and buttons.
