AtomOS 10.4 is here for Shogun 7, bringing multicamera functionality more into the mainstream. Atomos has released the highly anticipated update to its Shogun 7 HDR monitor/recorder/switcher combo, which should make filmmakers working on multicam projects very happy. The AtomOS 10.4 update bolsters the Shogun 7 with touch-controlled asynchronous switching, quad monitoring, and ISO recording functionality. You can also choose between quad-view to view all four input streams or full-screen view to monitor one of the four. Full-screen gives you tools like waveforms, magnify or engage peaking to check focus. All four streams can be recorded, with the switched program output as a fifth stream. And genlocked sources are not required since all this is done asynchronously. Read More...
