IBC has locked in Dec. 3-6 this year. IBC is returning as an in-person trade show, which is great news for those who enjoy attending the Amsterdam event that showcases the latest technology from exhibitors along with several educational conferences to hone your filmmaking skills. IBC 2021 is set for Dec. 3-6, 2021. “Following a period of industry consultation, the IBC Partnership Board has agreed that December is the best date in terms of safety and industry readiness to engage,” said IBC chief executive Michael Crimp. “Our conclusion is based on the results of the recent IBC exhibitor and visitor surveys and macro evidence of Europe opening up for business." Show organizers point out that "health and safety" were key factors behind the decision to return. IBC surveyed visitors and exhibitors, and two-thirds of respondents said tighter protocols to protect the health of visitors would encourage them to attend.
