Frame.io has released a substantial wave of updates for October and November 2025, bringing a rebuilt Premiere Pro panel to general availability, introducing AI-powered media search capabilities, and adding enterprise-grade security features including forensic watermarking and DRM protection. Following Adobe MAX 2025, the cloud-based video collaboration platform frame.io has transitioned several major features from beta to full release while introducing new capabilities aimed at streamlining professional post-production workflows. The Premiere Pro panel gets a complete rebuild The most significant update for editors working in Adobe’s ecosystem is the general availability of the upgraded Frame.io panel for Premiere Pro 25.6. Rebuilt from the ground up, this new panel allows editors to browse and manage projects, files, and folders within their Frame.io library directly from the NLE interface. Media can be imported into project bins while maintaining full folder structures, sequences can be shared for feedback, and review comments sync back as markers on the Premiere timeline. Quality-of-life improvements already include a default Sequences view for faster cut exports and batch import options for choosing between originals, high-res proxies, or low-res proxies.
