After slowly announcing and releasing across international markets, DJI has finally released its tiny new drone in the U.S., the Mini SE. DJI has marketed this as a camera you’d have lying around your house, meant to capture quick moments and memories. [deal id=152171] DJI listed that the drone is “almost as light as a smartphone” so with that, it hopes people will take this everywhere like they would a small point-and-shoot camera. DJI has also noted that the drone is “exceptionally portable and places it in the lowest and safest weight class of drone” which exempts it from certain regulations in certain countries. The Mini SE can take 12-megapixel photos, as well as 2.7K Quad HD videos.
