Cartoni has recently released a compact tripod head that can take payloads up to 21kg/46.3 lbs: the MIXO 21. This head features a 100mm bowl or flat mount, and all controls are located on the left side. It also features a continuous counterbalance system and seven friction settings for both pan and tilt axes. So, let’s take a closer look at it! Italian tripod manufacturer Cartoni has been in the industry for 90 years. While the company is most well-known for their broadcast/ENG tripods, as well as their cinema tripods, it also produces more affordable tripod systems for owner-operators, such as its Red Lock tripod legs and Focus tripod heads.
