Film equipment allrounder CAME-TV introduced their new Suction Cup Mount System – the SK06. It features four suction cup arms, a 10kg payload capacity and a DJI RS2 mounting system. CAME-TV has a really wide range of products. From wireless headsets over LED lights to camera rigs and supports. They already have three other suction cup mounts in their lineup, but the SK06 seems to be the newest and sturdiest one, offering a 10kg/22lbs payload capacity. The top plate offers various mounting threads with 1/4″-20, 3/8″-16 and M8 threads. Directly under it are some steel wire shock absorber springs. As far as I can see they compensate for horizontal movement, not up/down. Various mounting threads. Credit: CAME-TV The four arms have one suction cup each and are attached with joints looking similar to ULCS type products, in my opinion a very sturdy way to fix ball joints. Each suction cup has a diameter of 15cm, creating a suction capacity of 75kg/165lbs each, 300kg/660lbs in total. DJI RS2 kit for the SK06 The optional RS2 kit enables you to mount the DJI RS2 gimbal directly on a special top plate. The battery grip attaches to one of the suction arms. Not beautiful, but mounting the gimbal as low as possible reduces a lot of unwanted vibrations and jitters. The power gets transferred over an included cable connecting the battery grip with the RS2 adapter. The latter has two ports labeled with “DC IN”, but according to CAME-TV both can be used...
