ARRI introduces us to one of the most exciting cameras of the year, the Alexa LF. We've seen plenty of cool products in the last two years of NAB, but they were largely consisted of "under the hood" upgrades and useful little gadgets. This year, though, ARRI wasn't playing around when it introduced its large format Alexa LF system, which is comprised of the camera, the signature prime lenses, LPL lens mount (ARRI's new mount), and PL-to-LPL adapter. Able to capture native 4.5K, the Alexa LF camera improves upon others in the line with the large format 4K version of the Alexa sensor, which has all of the features of the original just at twice the size.
